After earning an art degree, Chelsea decided to augment her education. As a practical creative, interior design just made sense. In May 2022, she will be graduating with a A.A.S. in Interior Design from Dakota County Technical College. The following projects are coursework from her studies.

Commercial Condominium

Design a unit high-rise city condominium for a single man in his early 30s. The client works an intense job in finance and retreats to his home to relax and host social gatherings. His hobbies include traveling, tennis, and collecting vinyl. He enjoys the finer things in life such as cigars, wine, and coffee. The space must reflect his personality, but be timeless and able to age with him.

Mood Boards

Compilation of coordinating and complimentary furnishings depicted a specific interior style.

Commercial Restaurant

Develop a concept and design for a restaurant. There must be defined spaces for private events, dining, bar, host, and waiting. Traffic flow must be conducive for an efficient staff and intuitive for guests.

Residential Kitchen

Design a kitchen for semi-retired, social butterflies who love hosting and cooking. The property is located along the Oregon coast, and this is reflected in the tones and materials used. They homeowners prefer clean, modern lines, but would like natural elements integrated into the design.
